Payment and Ordering Terms for Website

Domestic Orders

• Rajpal is offering packaging and posting services free of cost for domestic (Indian) orders
• There are 2 different payment options available to customers

VPP Option (Cash on delivery)

• Delivery by: Post Office
• On receiving your order, we will send your books by VPP post and you pay the money to the postman at the time of receiving the order
• The Post Office imposes an upper limit on the value of VPP orders of Rs. 1000. If the order exceeds Rs. 1000, then the order will be sent in batches. For example, a VPP order of Rs 1500 will be sent in 2 batches, one of Rs. 1000 and the other of Rs. 500.
• The Post Office charges a commission of Rs 25 per order for providing this service.
• Example:
• Order Amount : 500
  Discount@10% : 50
  Amount Payable to Rajpal : 450
  Post Office VPP charge : 25
  Total Amount payable by customer to postman : 475

Cheque/Demand Draft/Money Order Option

• Delivery by: Registered Post
• Send a Cheque, Demand Draft or Money Order for the order amount favouring Rajpal & Sons. All cheques must be payable at par in New Delhi . On receiving the payment, your books will be sent to you by registered post. You can send your Demand Draft/ Cheque/ Money Order to:

Overseas Orders

• Packaging and posting services are charged to the customer.
• Overseas orders are sent by registered airmail.
• Posting and packaging charges of INR 200 per book
• VPP not available on overseas orders, customers have to send a Cheque/Demand Draft/Money Order in INR or USD (Use currency converter www.xe.com )

Delivery Times

Domestic Orders:

• VPP Orders: Please allow for 7 - 10 days delivery time from the day we receive your order

• Overseas Orders: Please allow 15-20 days delivery time from the day we receive your cheque
